Tin Mountain Nature Series Program was a great time, but a little breezy and cold. First year in some that snow is on the ground for any long period at Plum Island. We saw a good variety of birds including rough-legged hawks, northern harriers, redtailed hawk, snow geese, snipe, goldeneyes, and many others. Snowy owls were reported, but we saw none on our visit.
