On Thursday Dec 27 while driving on West Side Road just before Birch Hill I spotted a mature Male Bald Eagle in flight just above the trees. Appeared to have come over from the river and was heading towards the White Horse and Cathedral Ledges. Has anyone spotted Bald Eagles in this area before? I have been in the Valley for 15+ years and have never seen one this close in to town.
